The 2007 version of SciFinder Scholar is available for downloading at:

SciFinder Scholar 2007 - New features include:
Categorize your Reference Answer Set
• enables you to sort your answer sets by creating a histogram based on subject categories/substances. After displaying references, click on Analyze/Refine.
Export information from CHEMCATS into Excel spreadsheets for sorting and manipulation.
More than 13 million single- and multi-step reactions
More than 1 billion predicted and experimental properties
All patent records, meeting CAS selection criteria, from 9 of the major patent offices are available online within 2 days of the patents' issuance
Sequences combined from CAS and GenBank databases, are indexed and linked to scientific journal and patent literature.
Identify enzymatically catalyzed reactions for Industrial Applications
• Search for a reaction, then limit to Biosynthetic …

• More than 85,000 proton NMR spectra for nearly 84,000 substances.
• More than 1.2 million additional commercially available substances.
• Experimental property tags for new proteins and nucleic acids.
• 10,000 traditional medicine patents from 1985-2005.
• 18,000 records from Chemisches Zentralblatt (issues 1905-1906) enhanced with English machine-translations of the bibliographic and abstract information.
• U.S patent records from 1870-1889.
• Patents issued from the Peoples Republic of China, 2007+
• A record 24,623 records added in a single week (~20K records added each week).

4. Sigma-Aldrich Cell Signalling Pathfinders

PathFinder, a new online resource offers a free and comprehensive collection of interactive biological pathways. Developed in conjunction with bioinformatics specialist Protein Lounge, PathFinder will be initially launched with nearly 20 pathways. Once completed, the application will contain over 100 signal transduction pathways.
The online tool provides links to appropriate products from Sigma-Aldrich's portfolio that includes small molecules, antibodies, enzymes, QPCR components and siRNAis for gene knockdown. Additional support is provided through links to detailed product descriptions and technical articles.
PathFinder presents biological signalling and metabolic pathways in an interactive, graphical representation of the cell. Researchers can now use the resource to explore the relationships between different pathway components.
